Hair Clips

Just back again with a few more hair clips I have been making. My daughters have been wearing them to UNI and school and have had great feedback about them. I even have some orders for some girls in year 10 for their formal.

These flowers are attached to a crocodile clips, so they stay nice and secure. What do you think of them???

I'm off to get dinner ready for the hungry hoard. Have a great day.

Cards for Elise and Daniel

Beautiful Elise from Paper Love Affair, has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer and the gorgeous Cheryl from My Cardmaking Haven has asked if we could make Elise a cheery card to show her our love and support. Elise has a 4 1/2 year old little boy and she has a long road ahead of her, so please show her your support and send her a message of love. When Bec from Bizzy Bec's heard of Elise's story, she wanted to help and has generously put up a blog candy.

I will be sending this card off to Elise. For more information about this card drive, please visit Cheryl (here).

Cheryl also has a post about a young boy named Daniel. Daniel is the son of Claire from Crafty C's Crafting Library. He suffers from Aspergers Syndrome, as does my son Matthew. Well it's Daniels birthday soon and he loves receiving cards and he is a huge spongebob fan. Please join in with us and make his birthday extra special for him.

I hope you can all join in with these wonderful causes.

Hugs xo Jackie

New Flowers

Hi guys. Still feeling "blah", today so I've had a quiet day laying around and playing with some new flower ideas. What do you think??? I received my new Tim Holtz "tattered florals" die last week and have made some gorgeous grunge paper flowers but decided to give some fabric a go. I think they're adorable. They take up quite a lot more fabric and a lot of extra time than the lollipop flowers but I think it's worth it.

Short and sweet post today, I just wanted to share them with you. Panadol time lol...

Enjoy your day, hugs xo Jackie

Bizzy Bec's October Challenge

Welcome to this months challenge over at Bizzy Becs. For the month of October, Bec has asked us to create a card or project with a "GRUNGE" theme. OMG!!! I had so much trouble with this one. I now know why it's called a challenge.

I started off with a piece of vanilla cardstock and then swiped across it with my mustard, rust and cocoa ink pads. I inked some branches and swirls in black and cho
colate and randomly stamped them all over the card. I then used a different branch and embossed it with white ink and clear embossing powder. I handmade the grunge rose and added some metal corners and the feather.

One of our gorgeous team members Narelle, is kindly donating $30 worth of goodies for the lucky winner of this challenge. To be eligible to enter, you must be or have been a custo
mer of Bizzy Bec's.

Lookie what Bec has coming soon to her store for pre-order. Oooh, I can't wait. (squeal)

Be sure to head on over to Bec's and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the team.

Have a fabulous weekend, hugs xo Jackie
