Hooked On Craft Challenge #6

Hello my lovely friends and welcome to this fortnights Hooked On Craft Challenge. Our theme for this challenge is "THINGS WITH WINGS"... So we'd like to see your creations using butterflies, birds, fairies, angels etc. It could also include papers and embellishments.

I have used BUTTERFLY BEAR WITH FLOWER for my card. This stamp, flowers, leaves and bling are all available from the HOOKED ON CRAFT STORE.

Blue Butterfly Christmas Collection...

I just wanted to share with you a card I've made using BIZZY BEC'S new line of BLUE BUTTERFLY STAMPS... These images are from the new CHRISTMAS COLLECTION. I merged two image together. Thank you ...

Hello my beautiful friends. I have finally got some energy to quickly pop online and thank each and everyone of you for your beautiful well wishes and love. Just to hear that you took the time to leave such lovely comments brightened my days more than you could possibly know.

It was so nice to get home from hospital yesterday. I was begining to feel like a pin cushion lol... But the worst thing about it all was that I had to miss attending my sisters wedding in Western Australia. I was to be one of her bridesmaid's and it just broke my heart that I couldn't be there for her.

Thankfully before this all happened, I had all my posts scheduled to go. Thank you also to my lovely DT friends for taking up the slack for me, you're all amazing.

Hooked On Craft Challenge #5... Sweet Treats...

I'm back with another fun challenge over at HOOKED ON CRAFT. This fortnight our challenge is SWEET TREATS. So we would like to see your creation with cakes, lollies etc. This could be with dp, ribbon, embellishment and of course stamps. I have used this adorable stamp from HOOKED ON CRAFT.

Jackie is out of Hospital today

Good news, Jackie is coming home today. I am sure once she is home and well rested she will be on-line in a flash.

The rest of the clan are also well.

Well out with the vacuum cleaner, clothes in the washing machine, bust some dust and light some scented candles for her impending return.

Update on Jackie

Hello to all, and thankyou to those who have been wishing Jackie well. Jackie's condition was caused by a virus, headaches included. After adjustments to her medication she is now starting to feel better, however she will have to stay in hospital one more day. Kids will have to put up with my poor culinary skills, oh well you cannot be good at everything.

Jackie's sister Helen is getting married today in Perth, so poor Jackie has also missed out on this important event. All in all it has been one week we would all rather forget.

Well, my dear wife is still in hospital, she is starting to feel better but still has a bad headache. Hopefully we will get some response from the doctors soon, after a number of tests have been done.

Erin who posted the last update now has tonsilitis and is sick in bed herself. Well, its my birthday today, at least I am upright and mobile.

When jackie returns, she will no doubt be straight onto the computer to check emails and update all those out there that she is back in action.

Bizzy Becs August Challenge...

Well it's the 5th of the month and that means a new challenge over at BIZZY BECS. The theme this month is BLUE BUTTERFLY... Seeing this is the name of Becs line of stamps, she thought it would make a good challenge. I couldn't agree more. So we are wanting to see the colour blue and of course butterflies. Super easy!...

This is just a quick message from Jackie's daughter, Erin to let everybody know that Jackie will be taking a short break from blogging while she recovers in hospital after a bout of dehydration. Knowing mum, she will already have some beautiful cards lined up and scheduled to be published. The whole family is missing her so, so much and hoping she makes a quick recovery so she can be back home soon.

How's your weekend going? We had a lovely day today. My hubby is now home after being away for 3 weeks with work. Hopefully no more trips for a while. I just wanted to share a card with you I made a little while ago. This handsome little man is called Furgus Macfluff "it's my day" and he is available from CUDDLY BUDDLY. You will find him under PACHELA STUDIO stamps. I really enjoyed colouring him up. Hope you like it.

Hooked On Craft Challenge #4 "CUTE AND CUDDLY"

Well this is my first challenge card with HOOKED ON CRAFT as a new design team member. I'm so honored to be a part of this wonderful team. I want to thank the lovely Karen for having faith in me and giving me this amazing opportunity.

Our challenge this fortnight is to create a card that is "CUTE AND CUDDLY". This could include bears, dogs, cats etc...

For my card, I have used the adorable stamp called Valentine Dino's. Aren't they just so sweet. I have also used chrysanthemum asters, layered flowers, roses, leaves, bling and beautiful mesh ribbon which are all from the HOOKED ON CRAFT STORE.

You have until the 6th August to submit your creation on the HOOKED ON CRAFT CHALLENGE BLOG. Can't wait to see your take on this challenge.
