First Workshop

Well, I had my first demo last night. I think by the time I finished demonstrating my first card, my hands had finally stopped shaking. I really want to thank Kylie, for being such a wonderful host, and trying her hardest to instill confidence in me. It finally kicked in, once I started the second project. I would also like to thank the five other ladies who attended, Kerynne, Paula, Louise, Nikita and Mum, for being so supportive. We all had a great night.

Below are a few things I have made in the last couple of weeks. A few ideas came from Split coast stampers, and from some of my favourite blogs.

This little box and love notes were so quick, easy and fun to make. I used the beautiful Afternoon Tea DSP. Most definitely a favourite of mine.

As soon as I saw this mini magazine holder, I knew I had to make it. It's just so darn cute. I used the Ginger Blossom DSP.

I saw this on the Paper Pleasing Ideas blog. I have a couple of small candles inside.

I'll sign off now, but will post some more in a few days. I would like to say a big thank you, to all the lovely ladies who have left comments. I really appreciate each and every one of them.

My first post

Words cannot express how excited I was today. My Starter kit arrived. YAY!!! It felt like Christmas all over again. No sooner did I have the boxes open and my daughter Erin (17 tomorrow, happy birthday honey), decided that I had to get a blog up and running. I had absolutely no idea where to start. Of course being a computer literate teenager she did. So here it is. TaDA..lol. I am so looking forward to being a part of the Stampin' up family.
