Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #17

Welcome to this weeks Challenge over at the Lil Lolita Boutique. This week we have a sketch challenge for you. Our DT girls have made some absolutely gorgeous cards this week, so there's lots of inspiration for you.

For this weeks card, I used Willow from Tickled Pink Stamps. She is one of the original Lolitas and still one of my favourites. Those eyes of hers are just gorgeous. Don't forget that Tickled Pink Stamps are turning 1 on the 1st October and Kellie has so many exciting things planned, you wont want to miss a single thing. Be sure to head on over to Tickled Pink Stamps for their Birthday bash.

I'm looking forward to seeing you creations for this weeks challenge.

Have a great day, hugs xo Jackie

Topiary Trees

I went to another class at my local craft store on Wednesday and this is was our off the page project. A Christmas topiary table decoration.

It was so much fun that I decided I needed to have one on display all year around, so today I made another, but this time in my favourite colours.

My beautiful daughter Lauren joined in and made her own for her bedroom. I love it when we sit and craft together. She's been unwell lately and this really put a smile on her face. I'm sure you'll agree with me, she did a simply amazing job she did with hers.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs xo Jackie

Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #16

Are the weeks getting shorter and shorter, or is it just me? Welcome to this weeks challenge over at the Lil Lolita Boutique. Your challenge this week is to use stitching on your creation. It can be real or faux, your choice.

I coloured the ever elegant 20's Evie, from Tickled Pink Stamps. I inked the edges of all the papers and added faux stitching with my chocolate spica pen. The flower in the corner is another one of my creations. I just added a large pearl t
o the centre of it to tie it in with the rest of the pearls.

The prize for this weeks challenge is a set of my handmade fabric flowers embellishments.

If anyone is interested in purchasing some of these, please cl
ick on the link on my side bar. I have sweet little hair clip, brooches and rings listed also.

I'm looking forward to seeing your gorgeous creations for this challenge.

Thanks for visiting and for taking the time to leave such encouraging comments. It really makes my day. Take care, hugs xo Jackie

Satin Flower Brooches

Ok.. Here is what I've been playing around with lately. What do you think? I sat up last night and made the backing papers for them. I'm hoping to find a market or perhaps get into an Etsy store to sell them.

These brooches are all handmade from satin and glass pearls. I also have some made from georgette. The pearls are stitched into place, so they are very secure.

I'm hoping you lovely ladies will give me some feedback and perh
aps some suggestions. I've never done anything like this before and need all the help I can get. I have many more made in other vintage colours and have also made some into hair clips and cute little rings. I will get some pics of those to show you soon.

If anyone is interested in purchasing some, please feel free to contact me at jmgwthomas@exemail.com.au and I will be more than happy to help
you out.

EDIT
I've had some requests for prices. The brooches will be $10 this includes postage Australia wide. The rings (which are adjustable) will be $8 this also includes postage Australia wide. If you are after a certain colour, please ask. If you are interested, please send an email with all your details and I will be able to send you a Paypal invoice.

Thanks for your visit. Hugs xo Jackie

Bizzy Bec's September Challenge

Wow the first day of spring. My garden is full of gorgeous daffodils and iris's and my wattle trees are simply bursting with ludicrously yellow blooms. This fits in perfectly with Bizzy Bec's September Challenge. This months challenge is to create a "CHEERFUL SPRING CREATION".

I have used the new Bildmalarna image "Mimosa with watering can". Isnt she just the cutest? I coloured her with copic markers. I used the scallop circle and circle spellbinder dies, the Magnolia swirl doo hickey die, flowers and DP which I purchased from Bizzy Bec's.

We had the most amazing creations in last months challenge and we are all looking forward to seeing what you come up with this month.

Have a wonderful day, hugs xo Jackie
