Card #4 in Bizzy Bec's August Challenge

For My Little Man

I just wanted to share with you a card I made for my gorgeous Son Matthew. He recently got his yellow belt in Taekwon Do. We are all so proud of him. He's such a sweetie. When ever I'm in my craft room, he comes in and always gives me encouragement and tells me that my cards are beautiful (even if they're ghastly) and when I pick him up from school, he asks " How was your day today Mum? Did you make any cards?" So when we walked through the door yesterday, I presented him with this one and I tell you, the smile that it bought to his face was priceless. I got the biggest kiss and cuddle from him. I loved it. I know it's a very plain and basic card, but Matt loves it.

Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #11

Wow, where has this last week gone? Thursdays come around so darn quickly.

This weeks challenge theme at the Lil Lolita Boutique is "A rose for a rose".. So it's time to break out your flowers. I decided to use this gorgeous 2 step stamp from SU for my focal flower. The dp is also from SU. This is one of my favourites too. I really enjoyed inking up my stamps again. I have neglected them since I feel madly in love with my copic markers.

Bizzy Bec's New Stamps

Today is our fabulous "Boss Lady" AKA Kellie Winnell's Birthday. We are holding a fun "suprise" blog hop for her and when I say suprise I really mean SUPRISE!!

The Pink Ladies, including international girls, have joined forces with the Lil Lolita Boutique for this fun Birthday hop.

The gorgeous Debbie had an idea and approached Christine, the designer of our gorgeous Lolitas, and on the sly asked if she would design a KELLITA!!! Then Debbie let Kristy in on the secret and asked if she would like to help. Of course Princess Kristy said YES! So together Debbie and Kristy sent pictures and ideas of what Kellita would look like.

Bizzy Bec's Monthly Challenge card #2

Here is another card I have made for Bizzy Bec's August Challenge, which will start in a day or so. I used the gorgeous 20's Evie (from Tickled Pink Stamps). The tag, swirls and leaves are my new Magnolia DooHickey Dies, I just love them. These and the flowers, pearls and copic markers I used to colour the image, are all available from Bizzy Bec's. The ribbon and cardstock are from my stash.

Thanks for popping by. I'm going to make myself a cuppa and jump into bed with my beautiful son and watch Ice Age with him. The girls are studying and Geoff's watching some silly "guy" DVD. It's freezing in Canberra tonight, so a nice warm comfy bed sounds pretty good to me.

Bizzy Bec's August Challenge

This months challenge over at Bizzy Becs is "ANYTHING , YOUR CHOICE". You have free reign to create anything you like. This card I made for my beautiful sister Helen and her hunky fiance Dean for their engagement. She live in WA and I miss her terrribly. They are coming back to NSW to get married though. I'm so happy for them both.

Everything I have used on this card was purchased from Becs Store (except for the dp). Bec has so many exciting new products in store at the moment. The super sweet Bildmalarna stamps, a second pre-order for the new Travel Magnolias, the gorgeous Magnolia Doohickey dies and of course the pre-order for the new spellbinder dies.
